As numerous articles on this blog will attest to, social media is a major communication and marketing platform for wine brands around the world. And behind many, many wine brands are small businesses. It was therefore interesting to see the above statistics from social media company Postling about which social networks / tools small businesses were using. The research also found that Twitter was the most interactive medium and the social media platform where a brand’s customers were most engaged. The research stated that 62% of small business users posted to the various social media platforms more than eight times a week.
