A good friend and colleague of mine, Cape Wine Academy’s MD and wine master, Marilyn Cooper, has been named one of the three finalists in the CEO Magazine’s Most Influential Women in Business & Government Awards in the Arts and Culture Sector.
Marilyn became MD of The Cape Wine Academy in 2004 and has been instrumental in restructuring the organization into a respected academic institution that trains thousands of people in the private and professional sectors. Marilyn is also responsible for launching the Soweto Wine Festival which is now in its fifth year.
