Every year Franschhoek, which means “French Corner” after the French Huguenots who settled in the valley, remembers its French heritage and celebrates Bastille Day over a two-day festival. La Motte and Leopard’s Leap are proud participants in the festival. Both brands were in the wine marquee and La Motte’s restaurant Pierneef a La Motte showcased French cooking. The photo above shows the La Motte stand in the wine marquee.
