La Motte is planning several exciting activities for Franschhoek’s annual festival celebrating the arrival of spring, Franschhoek Uncorked. On 3 and 4 September wineries in the region put on several special events as they celebrate new vintages being released.
At La Motte, there will be live music in our tasting room, a special menu at the restaurant, Pierneef à La Motte, and two classical music concerts in our historical cellar. On Friday night Matthew Reid (clarinet) and Tertia Visser-Downie (piano) will be performing, and on Saturday night pianist Jan Hugo will play music by Liszt.
